Why I Created Patience

I began surfing after being diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic breast cancer.

At the time I was living with a severe balance disorder and needed a cane just to walk. Standing on a surfboard in the ocean seemed impossible, but I tried.

That first wave changed me. Patience was born from that journey.

The ocean became my place of courage, fear, healing, and gratitude. I made a decision to live fully and to focus on love, connection and joy for life

Patience is a reminder that quills and all we can meet life with meaning, courage and love.
